Nothing else changes, we’ve kept Mini Micro Deluxe that preschoolers know and love including the lean to steer system, adjustable T-bar to grow with them. Only now it’s an even more eco-friendly kid’s toy.

Q: What is an Eco Scooter?

Our toddlers Mini Micro Deluxe Eco Scooter, is green by design. We have incorporated recycled maritime plastics into the deck and the brake composition of the scooter. In an effort to make our scooters an increasingly eco-friendly product. It’s a roll in the right direction to a further sustainable world. Join the movement today anyway!

Q: What is the recycled plastic made from?

We take waste from the maritime industry, clean it, crush it, dry it and melt it and pour it to make our decks and brakes greener. Specifically, the waste that is discarded and obsolete such as ropes, trawls that have been used all over the world. This is the first exciting step in developing a more sustainable scooter. We recognise the potential of recycled plastics instead of producing new ones.

Q: Why is only a part of the scooter made from recycled material and not the whole scooter?

This is just the start. Currently, we have found a solution to making the Mini Micro Deluxe Eco deck and brake out of recycled maritime waste whilst preserving the premium quality of our scooters. The materials used for other parts of the scooter have a different composition, which cannot be replaced with the recycled material… yet. Our commitment to constant innovation means it’s only onwards and upwards from here!

Q: Does the Mini Micro Deluxe ECO differ in quality due to use of the recycled plastic?

No, our recycled plastic used for the deck and brake of the Mini Micro Deluxe ECO is as durable as our regular plastic. It has the same strength properties and meets the same safety standards.

Q: Does my child need to wear a helmet?

We always recommend that children should wear helmets when scooting. It is important that your child’s helmet fits correctly (see our video tutorial here).

Q. Is the height of the Mini Micro Deluxe Eco handlebar adjustable?

Yes! For the first time the Mini Micro Deluxe Eco has an adjustable handlebar height which means younger, smaller children can now enjoy the benefits of scooting. The height of the handlebar can be adjusted from 49-68cm, suitable for a child who is 80 – 110cm in height.
